Guided by a shared commitment to quality, artistry, and sustainability, LERET LERET has established a reputation for understated elegance, becoming a favorite among style icons and tastemakers worldwide.
As siblings running a business together, how do you navigate the personal dynamics of family while making tough creative or strategic decisions?
Separating emotions from business is something we work on every day. We grew up together in the same household, but we each have very different ways of thinking, creating, and approaching strategy. That contrast can be challenging, but it’s also what gives Leret Leret its charm. You can feel a little bit of each of us in everything we do.
Whenever a decision needs to be made, whether creative or strategic, we make sure to sit down and talk as a unit. Communication is everything, and knowing where each of our strengths lies helps us trust one another and delegate confidently. Even when we don’t naturally align on a decision, we always come back to communication. That process often leads to our best ideas and helps strengthen our bond, not just as business partners but as siblings.
What does “luxury” mean to you today, and how has that definition evolved since founding the brand?
To me, luxury today means peace, quality, and the feeling of being seen and understood. It’s less about excess and more about intention. I’ve always loved fashion, but growing up, I used to associate luxury with quantity, excess, and extravagance. But over time, especially through building Leret Leret, I realized luxury is more of a feeling.
It’s in the small details, the way a piece makes you feel, the connection you have to what you’re wearing. That shift in perspective changed how I view clothing, and it shaped how we built the brand, pushing us to prioritize quality over quantity and creating something meaningful for a community that values the same.
How do you think about scaling a brand like Leret Leret without compromising its exclusivity and integrity?
It has to come from a genuine place. Growth should never be about chasing trends or adding new categories just because the market is moving in a certain direction. Everything we create at Leret Leret reflects how we live, what we wear, and what we value.
Evolving is necessary, but staying grounded in the brand’s core is what preserves its integrity. Working alongside my siblings helps keep us aligned with that core. It keeps things honest. We’re not building for mass; we’re building for meaning.
Leret Leret is known for its numbered, collectible pieces. What inspired this unique approach to luxury fashion?
From the beginning, we wanted to create something timeless, inclusive, and lasting — pieces that speak for themselves without needing much explanation. The quality, the design, the photography, the community, we want every aspect of the brand to reflect that vision.
When we finished designing our first collection and it came time to name each piece, we realized we didn’t want to impose a narrative. Many of our designs are abstract, and even the more literal ones are interpreted differently by everyone. That’s the beauty of it. Numbering each piece allows the wearer to bring their own story to it and make it personal.
Sustainability is often a buzzword in fashion—what does it truly mean to Leret Leret, and how is it reflected in your sourcing and production?
For us, sustainability is about doing our part, consciously and consistently. No brand is 100% sustainable, and it would be dishonest to say otherwise. But every time we’re faced with a decision, we take the more responsible route whenever we can, and we always have.
It’s not just about the product; it’s about the entire process. From our sourcing to our production, from our packaging to our pace, we think carefully about how to minimize waste, support ethical practices, and build something that lasts. That’s what sustainability means to us: care, consideration, and commitment over time
